Understanding the tasks menu
Tasks takes the trouble out of completing your daily food safety checks ensuring your teams are not only completing what they should but when they should. On the Task Menu you will see various coloured circles beside each Checklist that indicates the status of the list. This helps you keep track of which tasks are completed, completed late, or incomplete. Eg: Here is an explanation of what the colors represent. AFew readersDuplicate Tasks or Sections
It is now simpler than ever to build tasks with the ability to duplicate a section, with or without all rows. It is also possible to duplicate an entire task if there is a task that you want to use as a template to then make changes on this without affecting the current task. Duplicating Section Previously all sections had to be created and worked on individually, now you can create your first section then duplicate as many times as you need. We have expanded our functionality of the period check on Tasks sections. To explain Period check in general, the way it works is to only show certain sections on certain days depending on the period check. The options we have for Period checks are Week, Fortnight, Month, Day of Month, Quarter, Year, these are all explained below. Using Week as an example to demonstrate if a task is set to Period check enabled, a section can be set to no Unit, this would mean that it shows every day, or a UnitFew readersSection Level Compliance
Previously, tasks had to be built without flexibility so that compliance ranges could be applied to those rows. Now you can set a compliance range to all added rows so tasks can be far more flexible. The range can be set differently for each section, for example, you have a frozen section, cold section and heated section with fully customizable rows that can be added as per different daily requirements. The section compliance will not overwrite row level compliance and will only apply to addedFew readersUnpublish Tasks
After hearing feedback from customers about the need to work on tasks before they are required to be completed for compliance we have added an unpublished status which will have the task in the backend but not show on the frontend. This is also useful if a task is no longer required but the reporting can’t be lost as an unpublished task will no longer require to be competed or show on the front end but still available to be selected in the reporting section If a Daily task is moved from publishFew readers
