Please note: Gateways are only able to connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks, if you're unsure please reach out to our Support team for assistance.

You can refer to the Gateway Setup Guide at the link below and follow the steps to connect your Gateway.

🪜 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Plug the Gateway into power using the USB cable and adapter. A solid red light indicates the device is powered on and ready.

2. Press and hold the button until all three lights — Red, Green, and Blue — appear together, then release. The Gateway is now in Wi-Fi setup mode.

Note: Wi-Fi pairing mode is only active for 2 minutes.

3. While these lights are flashing go to the WiFi settings on your device.

4. Select the serial number of your gateway on the available networks (found on the front sticker).

5. If prompted, enter the password: gnd@1234 + the last two/three digits of the serial number. Example: Serial GSW0000077 → Password gnd@123414

6. A setup page should open. If it doesn't, open your browser and type 192.168.4.1 into the address bar.

7. Tap Configure WiFi, select your network, enter the Wi-Fi password, and tap Save.

8. Your gateway will restart. Wait until the Red, Green, and Blue lights stop flashing. The Blue light indicates when the gateway is connecting to the network.

9. Check if your gateway has connected. If not, wait up to 5 minutes and try again.

🔎 Check your gateway is connected

Now you know your gateway is connected, place it in a central location. We suggest a high shelf or wall-mounted with double-sided tape, cord reaching the power point.

Now you can start installing the sensors!
