What is Wi-Fi printing?
Wi-Fi printing allows users to print to the same printer using multiple devices. Limitations: the printer and devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network, and users will need access to the venue within the Squizify app.
🪜 Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Connect via Bluetooth
First connect the printer via Bluetooth. See our Connecting my Premium Printer via Bluetooth article if not already done.
Step 2: Set up the Wi-Fi connection
1. Go to the Labels menu.
2. Reopen the sidebar and press + Printer Setup.
3. The status should say BT Connected with a green highlight.
4. Press the blue Configure button next to WiFi.
5. Scan for Wi-Fi networks.
6. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
7. Enter the Wi-Fi Password and Printer Name, then press Connect.
8. The printer will now take some time to configure. Do not close the app, try to print from another device, press buttons on the printer, or turn off either device during this time.
How do I know if it's connected?
A green popup will appear saying WiFi Connected.
The + Printer Setup menu status will show WiFi Connected.
Using other devices with Wi-Fi printing
1. Make sure the device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
2. Open the Labels section.
3. When prompted, select Allow to let Squizify find and connect to devices on your local network.
4. You can now print via Wi-Fi!
