  • Customizable: Enable this feature only for the tasks or columns where it matters most.

  • Visual Indicators: Easily track compliance with updated analytics, summaries, and task screens.

  • Completion Reminders: Receive clear messaging when a task requires the device for compliance.

Never miss a beat! Our new recurring alert system keeps you informed when actions are overdue:

  • Cook Alerts: Sounds every 10 seconds until acknowledged.

  • Hold Alerts: Notifies you every minute, ensuring you stay on top of your game.

Faster Cook Creation with Simplified Size Selection

We’ve eliminated unnecessary clicks! The size field now defaults to the first available option, making your workflow faster and easier—especially when there’s only one choice.

Flexible Form Management

Gain more control over your forms with the ability to hide them when not needed:

  • Retain completed form data while preventing new entries.

  • Automatically cancel schedules and hide drafts.

Quarterly Task Scheduling

Plan smarter with our new quarterly task frequency! Perfect for recurring tasks that need to happen at the start of every quarter:

  • January 1st

  • April 1st

  • July 1st

  • October 1st

Enhanced Yearly Tasks with Monthly Flexibility

Yearly tasks just got more versatile! Add a monthly period check so your sections are visible all month long for better planning and execution.

Assign Actions More Efficiently

Group users by level when assigning actions. With one click, assign tasks to everyone in a group—saving you time and effort!

Introducing the Form Completion Summary Report

We’ve created a brand-new report format for a deeper look into task completion. This report shows overall completion percentages instead of focusing solely on “Yes” responses, giving you a fresh perspective on performance.

Gateway Battery Alerts - Coming Soon

New alert system to inform you if you gateway has been unplugged or is no longer connected to mains power.

  2. Second will be a notification that the gateway is now below 75%

  3. Third will be a notification that the gateway is now below 50%

  4. Fourth will be a notification that the gateway is now below 25%

  5. Fifth will be a notification that the gateway has gone offline due to the battery running out.

The difference between the first 4 alerts and the final is that the final alert cannot be muted and can only be removed by reaching out to support in the case of a power outage or dead gateway, or by plugging your gateway back in.

This final alert will stay on the screen unmoving until one of these actions occurs

New Reference Field for Forms

There is now a new reference field added to forms so that you can categorise your forms. This could match a batch number, a date or any other alphanumeric value that you want to be able to search for later to find your form.

This is available to all users who use our forms feature, if you are not using forms and want more information feel free to reach out to our team.

Dormant Sensor Setting

We have created a new system that will be incredibly useful for our customers who use display fridges, bain maries and other service period only temperature systems. You can now add a dormant schedule to a sensor which will mean that the readings during the dormant period are excluded from reporting and alerting, this means if you have a unit like a bain marie that is turned on from 11am-9pm everyday you could set a dormant period from 9pm-11am each day so that the readings taken by the sensor are ignored during this period, you will not be alerted for any over or under temperature thresholds and your sensor reports will also ignore these times when calculating average temperatures. If you would like to have a deeper Squiz at this new feature then reach out to the demo and we will be happy to show you how to set it up

Auto Refresh on Sensor Dashboard

Our Sensor dashboard is a great page to use a home screen as you can see what temperature all your sensors are at any given time, this use to be a bit of a headache as if you did not refresh your page it could get out of sync. Now your dashboard will refresh regularly so that your data is always up to date.

This improvement is active for all users who use our live temperature monitoring sensors, if you are not using our sensor feature and are interested please reach out to our team.

Assign Actions to all user levels

If you are using actions you can now enable any user to be able to be assigned an action by any other user, this means a store manager could assign an action to an area manager, or an area manager could assign an action to a store user. This setting is managed by the Show in Actions toggle in the user profile, and is available for all users who use our actions system, if you are not currently using our actions feature or want some help setting this up get in contact and we would love to help you out.

Store Closures handled by Reports

Closed stores are now excluded from reports, this means if you are a store that closes on the weekend, or a Monday then these days will not show in your reporting. This feature works using our flexible store closure feature, so if you are a venue that closes and are not already using our store closure feature and want some help with it, reach out to our team and they would be happy to help.

Allergen Matrix updated for PEAL requirements

We have updated our Allergen matrix to be in line with the PEAL requirements. Custom Period Check

We have updated our period checks to allow for custom timeframes providing greater flexibility to better suit your business. When creating or editing tasks ensure 'Period Check Enabled' at the top of the screen is ticked, open the Section Settings and change the 'Unit' to 'Custom', from here you can select the start date and how many days within the rotation.

Updated Allergens Section

On 25 February 2024 new requirements entered into force for the labelling of allergens in food. In response to these new requirements, Squizify has updated our list of allergens. No other changes were required and allergens can be viewed and accessed using existing methods.

You can learn more about the new regulations on the Food Standards website or via the following link: P1044 - Plain English Allergen Labelling

Time as a row compliance option

When creating or editing Master Tasks, you now have the option to set row completion timeframes within which the specified rows must be completed.

To set a row compliance timeframe go to the Master Tasks menu, open the respective Task, then for each individual row set the Must be completed after and Must be completed before times.

Bulk Edit Sensors for Brand Admins

Brand admins now have the ability to edit multiple sensors at the same time, to do this:

  1. Open the Sensors Dashboard

  2. Select '+ Settings' on the top right corner of the page,

  3. Select '+ Bulk Edit' at the top of the settings menu

  4. Select all sensors you wish to edit, along with the fields which require editing

Force action on failed response of a form or audit

When editing or creating new forms and audits, you can now make an action required when a question is answered in a particular way.

I.e. If a 'No' or 'Fail' response is provided, the staff member can be required to complete an action.

7 May

Support Signature Pad - Audit Squiz/Tasks/Forms

New input type for all task and forms is now available. You can now add a signature box to any task, form or Audit so that you can make sure the task is signed off by the staff member completing the work. This new signature field is a free draw field so users will be able to draw their signature on the field and then in reports you will see a Yes/No if the signature has been completed

Duplicate Master Task - Tasks

When creating a new task if you would like to just copy a current task as a template you can now duplicate the task and have a new version to edit. This will copy all settings across but will be a new task and will not generate until it is saved. This in conjunction with the new Unpublish/Publish means you can duplicate and work on a task before it shows to your customers.

Extension of our Period Check Feature

We have previously had the ability to create a task that only shows sections on certain days of a week or days of a month, now we have the ability to show on a certain day of a fortnight, ie. First Monday, Second Tuesday etc. or show for a quarter, ie. Section shows for first quarter (Jan-Mar) and third Quarter (Jul-Sep) which will be a yearly task that just needs to be completed twice a year, once in first Quarter, once in Third Quarter. There is also a yearly period check where you can make a section show on a specific date each year.

Ability to manage compliance range on Section - Tasks

Previously tasks had to be built without flexibility so that compliance ranges could be applied to those rows. Now you can set a compliance range to all added rows so tasks can be far more flexible. The range can be set differently for each section so for example you could have a frozen section, cold section and heated section with fully customizable rows that can be added as per different daily requirements.

Publish/Unpublish status - Tasks

After hearing feedback from customers about the need to work on tasks before they are required to be completed for compliance we have added an unpublished status which will have the task in the backend but not show on the frontend. This is also useful if a task is no longer required but the reporting can’t be lost as an unpublished task will no longer require to be competed or show on the front end but still available to be selected in the reporting section

Monthly Squiz

We have a new and improved daily squiz report, each day if you are configured to receive a daily squiz it will now include Yesterday, Last week and last month for all of the stores you are assigned to as well as a total overall for your stores.

Offline Humidity reading

When a sensor has a humidity reading that is above the sensor operating conditions the sensor will now reflect this by showing the reading as Offline - Humidity

Make Offline Sensors more obvious

Offline sensors now clear and obvious from dashboard see example below, when a sensor goes offline the last reading will no longer show which has previously been held to show the last temperature and will now make it clear that the sensor is offline.

Dashboard clickable/interactive

It is now possible to navigate directly from the analytics dashboard to Tasks, Forms and Actions by clicking on the corresponding area of the dashboard. This means you can be viewing your analytics then dive straight into your work with just one click.

Filter for venues on analytics page

We have improved the functionality of the filter on our analytics dashboard that can now be filtered by a range of variables to make sure that you can view the information you need at your fingertips

Language Selector Improvement

For those of our customers who use our language selector feature we have moved the selector to a more prominent location allowing you to easily navigate to and switch between languages as required.

Multi Printer Capability

We have added the ability to add as many printers as you need to a profile and print to whichever printer you want, you can set a default which is where the quick print will print to but otherwise there will be a pop up asking them where they would like to print.

This works for using one device, whether it is a tablet or phone, and connecting to multiple printers via either bluetooth or wifi. However if you are wanting to use multiple devices and print directly to each printer from any device any time, then the printers will need to be connected via wifi.

This setting is in early access and if you would like access please contact the Squizify support team.

Multiple assignees for actions

Actions has become more flexible with the ability now to assign any action to as many of your staff as required via a multi select drop down box. The list will still include all the same staff members but where before you could only select one now you can select as many as you would like. The action still only needs to be completed once so if you are wanting the action completed by all staff members then you will need to create multiple actions.
