If you have "Period Check Enabled" on your Task List, you will be able to set specific tasks to be done "Everyday" as well as allocating certain tasks to specific days of the week. Your Section Headings will look like this:
This will mean when your staff go to complete the Task List, they will see jobs that are specific to the one day each week, as well as the regular daily jobs, like this:
If you don't require these Daily options, uncheck the Period Check Enabled option. This will enable you to create one single list, or customise your own Section headings.
To start customising your list, click on +Section Settings and the form will open up further.
🧩 Section Name
This is the heading that appears on your task list.
If you’re using Daily tasks, this will automatically show the days of the week (e.g. Monday, Tuesday).
📝 Description
Use this space to add helpful instructions for the task.
You can include:
What needs to be done
Reference notes or documents
Equipment details
Any extra information the user should know
This helps users clearly understand how to complete the task 👍
🧩 Row Type Options
Choose how users will fill in each row on the task list:
📝 Text – Allows users to type free text for that row
📦 Product – Shows a dropdown list from the Master Product List
🛠️ Equipment – Shows a dropdown list from the Master Equipment List
👤 User – Shows a dropdown list of users to select from
Filler – Can Add Rows
➕ Enable this option if you want users to add extra rows while completing the list.
❌ If this is turned off, you’ll need to create all rows in advance, and users can only complete the fixed list you’ve set.
Hide Row Name
We recommend using this option only if you want to hide the row name and capture information from the other configured rows.
🔍 What this means:
The task name will not be visible to the user.
The user will only see Yes / No options (or other fields), without knowing what the task is.
🚨 Be careful when using this option
If applied to cleaning or operational tasks, staff won’t know what task they are completing, which may cause confusion or incorrect entries.
✅ Best used when:
You need to collect data without displaying the task name.
❌ Avoid using when:
The task requires clear instructions or visibility for staff.
