Labels Not Feeding or Getting Stuck Troubleshooting Guide

If your printer is not feeding labels correctly or labels are getting stuck, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.


1. Listen to the Feed Mechanism

Turn on the printer and try to feed a label.

  • If you hear a humming sound (motor spinning) but the labels are not moving, the feed mechanism or drive gears may not be engaging correctly.
  • In this case, please contact support for further assistance.


2. Check Label Loading

Open the printer by pressing the latches on both sides.

  • Ensure the labels are loaded and threaded correctly according to the printer guide. Premium Printer and Standard Printer
  • Make sure the labels are straight and not skewed.





3. Inspect the Platen Roller

Locate the platen roller inside the printer.

  • It should be secured by grey clips on both sides.
  • If a clip is missing, loose, or broken, the roller will not stay in place and should be replaced.



4. Clear Any Label Jams

If the clips are intact:

  • Gently unclip both sides and remove the platen roller.
  • Carefully remove any labels or adhesive stuck inside the printer.
  • Reinsert the platen roller securely, reload the labels, and close the cover.




5. Run a Test Feed

Press the Feed button until one label advances.

  • If the label feeds and aligns correctly, the issue is resolved.
  • If the problem continues, please contact support for further assistance.
