Labels are not printing correctly on my Premium printer

Is your printer only printing on half of the label? Or does your printer print one label, then push out some empty labels before printing the next? It happens, and all you need to do is recalibrate the printer. But before you start let's make sure the labels have been inserted properly into the printer itself, then we can recalibrate it.

Turn the printer off by holding the power button. All buttons will light up before they start switching off one by one. When this happens let go of the power button and wait for the printer to turn off.

Once off, open the printer by pulling back both yellow buttons on the side and lifting the front.

Take the roll out completely.

Pull aside the yellow roll placeholder (A) and insert the label roll as displayed below. The labels should be free rolling, so make sure your roll turns (B). Pull the labels past the front of the printer and push it below the the guides on either side(C).

Lift the front lip of the labels and align the moveable, yellow sensor to the middle of the black notch in the underside of the printer. There will be a guideline to which you need to align the sensor to just in front of it.

Now put the label lip back down and make sure it runs over the printer's edge.

All good, you can now close the printer as we know the labels have been installed correctly.

All that is left to do is to recalibrate the printer. Before we do this we need to turn the printer back on.

Once the printer is back on, press and hold the PAUSE (ll) and CANCEL (X) buttons together for 3 seconds. The printer will recalibrate and push out 3 empty labels.

Recalibration is now completed and you can print the labels the way you intended too. If you still have issues please have a look at some of the other articles related to our printers or reach out to us on chat.
