How to set up the gateway

WiFi Gateway (Standard)

Plug your Gateway into a power source using the usb cable and the plug attachment, give it a moment for it to boot up.

Using a small pointy object such as a pen press down the button on the gateway next to the power supply.

The lights on the front of the gateway will turn on, first the red power on light, then the green data light, then the blue network light (this is all the lights) followed by all lights.
When all the lights begin to flash release the button
Note: Wi-Fi pairing mode is only active for 2 minutes.

While these lights are flashing go to the WiFi settings on your device. (computer, phone or tablet)
Select the serial number of your gateway on the available networks (The serial number can be found on the front sticker of the gateway.)

The password for the gateway is gnd@1234x.
X is the sum of the numbers in the serial number, for example if your gateway serial number is GSW0000077 the password would be gnd@123414

A setup page should open for you that looks like the screenshot to the right.
If this page does not please go to your internet browser and type in the search bar 192.168.4.1 this will open the set up page manually.

Select Configure WiFi

Select your WiFi network from the list and enter your WiFi password. (There is a show password button to help you double check you have typed the password correctly!)

Select Save!
Your gateway will restart so don't be alarmed! It needs to restart to connect to your WiFi network.

Check if your gateway has connected to the WiFi network.
If your gateway is not connected when you check on your sensors page wait up to 5 minutes and check this again, if it is still not connected please repeat the steps above.

(If you are still having troubles connecting your gateway please contact support@squizify.com to help you)

Check your gateway is connected on the profile using the guide below:

Now you know your gateway is connected, place it in a central location to all the sensors to ensure the best connection. We suggest you place this on a high shelf or mount high on a wall using double sided tape. Make sure the cord reaches the powerpoint and that all sensors are connected and reading consistently before you mount it!
