Connecting my Premium Printer via Bluetooth
Watch the video guide or scroll down for step-by-step instructions on how to connect your Premium Printer to the Squizify app via bluetooth.
Turn your printer on, if it is on already make sure it is not in sleep mode. If the STATUS indicator light is flashing green (the first light) it means it is in sleep mode. Just press the PAUSE button to wake the printer or alternatively turn the printer off and back on again via the POWER button.
Now open the Squizify App and login.
If you do not have the Squizify app go to your Play or Apple Store and search and install Squizify first.

Play Store for Android Devices: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.squizify.Squizify&hl=en_AU&gl=US
Once installed, log in and go to the 3 lines at the top left to display the Menu Tabs.
Select Labels in the lefthand menu. In some cases if you have multiple Venues under your login you will be asked to select a venue. Select the Venue you are at. You will now see the labels you can print.
Now in the lefthand tab again, click on + Printer Setup, which will bring up a right hand slider.
In the slider click the Blue Configure button which will bring up 3 options. Scan for Printers, Manually Configure Printer and Cancel.
Before you click anything go back to the printer and press and hold the FEED button for 5 seconds. This will turn on the Bluetooth Discovery Mode for your printer.
The DATA indicator light (the middle light) will start flashing green. The printer will remain in pairing mode for 2 mins.
Now on your device click the blue Scan for Printers button.
The device will scan all Bluetooth connections and list them. The name of your printer generally starts with “50J”, in our example we named it Zebra420.
If during pairing you still can not see the printer or can not pair to the printer please reach out to us through the chat bot, or alternatively email us on support@squizify.com leaving your details, the steps you have followed and contact name and number.
Select your printer by clicking on the name (the blue underlined text) after which the DISCONNECTED indicator will turn green and change to CONNECTED. You are now connected.
To confirm connection ensure the STATUS light on your printer is Green and the CONNECTION light is red.
To print, go to a label, click on it and click the blue Print Label button in the right hand side slider.
If the labels are not printing correctly, you might need to calibrate the printer. For this please visit our Calibration Article which will help you through troubleshooting.
