Connect my Premium printer to Wi-Fi
Learn how to set up Wi-Fi printing on your Premium Printer and start printing from multiple devices.
Wi-Fi printing allows users to print to the same printer using multiple devices. There are however some limitations to this:
The printer and devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
Users will need access to the venue within the Squizify app.
First you will need to connect the printer via Bluetooth, this if has already been done then you can move on to step 2. Otherwise, please see our Connecting my Premium Printer via Bluetooth article.
Go to the Labels menu.
Reopen the sidebar and press + Printer Setup.
The status should say BT Connected with a green highlight.
If it says Disconnected then you will need to connect the printer via Bluetooth before continuing.
It is says WiFi Connected then you already have an active WiFi connection and no further steps need to be taken.
Press the blue Configure button next to WiFi.

Scan for Wi-Fi networks.
Select the W-Fi network you want to connect to.

A popup will appear requesting the Wi-Fi Password and Printer Name, enter the password and choose a name for your printer.
We typically suggest using 'Squizify Printer', ' Squizify - YourBrandName, or the location to help identify printers if you have multiple in use.

When ready press Connect.
The printer will now take some time to configure, during this time:
Do not close the app.
Do not try to print from a different device.
Do not press any buttons on the printer.
Do not turn off either device.
There are a few indicators to tell you if your printer is connected via Wi-Fi:
A green popup will appear in the top right corner of the screen saying WiFi Connected.
If you check the + Printer Setup menu, the status will be WiFi Connected.

At the top of the Labels screen a WiFi symbol will display saying Connected.
Your printer will have two green lights to show it is connected over Wi-Fi.

Make sure the device is connected to the same WI-Fi network as the printer.
Open the Labels section.
A popup will appear asking "Squizify would like to find and connect to devices on your local network", select Allow.
You can now print via Wi-Fi!
