Why Add a New User?

Adding new team members to Squizify ensures everyone is aligned with your venue’s compliance tasks—from recording temps to responding to alerts. It’s quick, secure, and keeps your team accountable.

🪜 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log In and Navigate to Settings

  • Log in to the Squizify app.

  • Click your profile icon (top right) and select Settings from the dropdown.

Tip: If you’re on a tablet, tap the three-line menu first to see your profile icon.

2. Access the Users Section

  • In the left-side menu, select Users.

  • Click the blue Add User button.

Pro Tip: Double-check you’re in the correct venue if you manage multiple locations.

3. Fill in User Details

  • Enter the new team member’s name, email, and phone number.

  • Select their Role (e.g., Team Member, Manager).

  • Assign their Store(s): Ensure they only have access to the venues they work at.

Compliance Note: Assigning the right role and store access helps maintain data security and accountability.

4. Customise Notifications and Access

Tick the relevant boxes for their needs:

Email subscribed

Receive daily Squiz emails (e.g., task reminders, compliance updates).

SMS subscribed

Get SMS alerts for urgent actions (e.g., temp breaches).

Shown in Actions

Appear in the dropdown for task notifications.

Is Disabled

Only use this to revoke access when a staff member leaves.

Avoid using “External API subscribed”—this is not for general use.

5. Submit and Confirm

  • Hit the blue Submit button.

  • The new user will receive a confirmation email to complete their registration.

Encourage them to check their spam folder if they don’t see the email.
