How to Create a New Label
If you are using our Label printing solution, you may need to create new labels to add to your library as new products are added. Here are the steps you need to take to add a new label, alternatively scroll to the bottom of the page to view a video guide on creating and editing labels.
Select Labels from the main menu bar.
Click on +Add New Label on the top right hand side of the screen.
A popout menu will appear on the right hand side.
Select the design you want for the label by clicking Change Design.
Now fill out the name of the label you require in the product box.
Locked by head office: This locks the label so no-one can alter the dates, name, picture unless you have head office clearance.
End of day enabled: Sets the expiry date to midnight on the selected day, otherwise expiry dates are timed from the moment they are printed.
Default period: This is the value (number) and period (day/hours etc) for the expiry time frame. You need to fill in the number and select from the drop down.
Type: Select the type from the drop down list. This will determine the placement on the Label menu.
Category: This places the label into the sub-groups of for the Type selected above.
Description: You have to fill out a description to continue, but this does not generally show on the label.
Photo: If you are adding a photo, this need to be under 500kb and in a .jpg or .PNG format.
Select Save.
Congratulations, now test your label!
