How to check the calibration of the Lumity Cooking Oil Tester (TPM)

To ensure the Cooking Oil Tester produces accurate readings the calibration must be checked regularly.

The calibration can be adjusted on the probe itself, to calibrate the Cooking Oil Tester you mush have:
A Lumity TPM Cooking Oil Tester
Access to hot water
Emerson Calibration Test Oil (Check that it is in date!)

If you do not have the test oil contact Squizify to order this product

Let's get started

Clean the Sensor using a Cloth or Disposable Paper Towel

Place the reference oil container in a jug of hot water

Warm the oil until it reaches 50°C

Immerse the Cooking Oil Tester into reference oil and take a reading.

Compare reading with the label value.
If deviation is more than 2%, adjustment is necessary.
If deviation is less that 2% or at 2% no adjustment is needed
