How to Add Important Dates
Important Dates are handy to keep track of public holidays, school holidays or events coming up. Once entered when the lead day comes up an Alert banner will appear on the screen to remind Users of the upcoming event. This will stay there for the duration of the lead time as well as the event. This is handy for rostering and ordering ahead of time.
From the Main Menu select General and then scroll down and click on Important Dates.
Now click on the +Add New button in the top right of the screen.
When the popup form appears, complete the fields provided.
The Description field is what will be displayed in the banner.
If you have multiple venues, you can select the location/s that this event will affect by selecting the relevant fields.
Finally, decide how days in advance you want to notify staff of the event, and enter this value in the Alert Lead Days box
Click Submit
